ACTS 15: Write a letter

We’re well into this journey through the Book of Acts and it’s proving to be an exciting adventure full of twists and turns. We’re reading a chapter a day and I’m providing a link to the chapter in the NIV(UK) version, but you can of course read the chapter in whatever version you like. I’ve been sharing some short reflections, but the important part is the last part: ACTION. How have you been getting on with the short daily challenges so far?

Are you up for today’s challenge?

Then let’s continue!

READ: Acts 15

REFLECTION: ‘Unless you are….., you cannot be saved.’

‘Unless you behave in this way, you cannot be saved.’

‘Unless you pray this prayer, you cannot be saved.’

It all sounds frighteningly familiar, doesn’t it? So prescriptive.

Who are we to judge?

‘We believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they are.’

Grace.

It all comes down to grace.

Who are we to judge?

Ooh…disagreement! Yes, it happens. Yes, sometimes the best thing is to part ways. It’s how it is done that is important. Learn to disagree well.

ACTION: Write a letter

Yes, a real letter. Write using a real pen and real paper.

Write a letter with an encouraging message to someone who needs to receive an encouraging message right now.
